The Beginning
Saturday 30 Aug: A wonderful introduction to the generosity shown by Perth and Fremantle people today.  We were shown  into the Fremantle Sailing Club this morning, given access to the boat ramp, and so Wait And See were able to dip their wheels into the Indian Ocean.  We wined and dined ourselves in the Sailing Club dining room, overlooking a marina that went for miles and miles, and what boats couldn’t fit on the water, they were resting on trailers in the carpark.  I actually didn’t think you could trailer boats as large as the ones we saw!  Then up to north Perth to the State Motor Museum to display Wait And See to the public, and where members of the WA Jowett Club were waiting to welcome us.
